I believe his name was Colby, but whoever was sent out today — THANK YOU! You truly went above and beyond.

Today started with me having a blowout on the Turnpike. I changed it out for the spare, but of course, that came with its own set of problems. My phone was at 20%, I was crying, Nate (Boyfriend) was trying to calm me down because I was scared, changing a tire on the Turnpike is NOT cool & to top it all off… we were missing one of the tools needed for the jack

Thank the Lord for OHP! One of the troopers stopped, got me safely jacked up, and helped me get the spare on. Since it was the spare, I knew I couldn’t take the Turnpike home, so I took the back way toward Claremore (266).

Of course… the spare went flat

I called Nate (now my phone was at 12%), crying again. He reassured me everything was going to be okay and immediately started figuring out what to do and who to call.

He called C&J Auto Worx and they were there in less than 5 minutes.

They knew my original tire was flat because Nate had given them the whole rundown. They grabbed my original tire and were going to replace it with a used tire since my tires are hard to come by. Unfortunately, they didn’t have one. They then checked the spare to see if it could be plugged or if it had already been going flat when it was put on. They aired it up, but we noticed the sidewall had bumps in a couple of places.

He still put it on for me and told me where I could go to get my original tire fixed because he didn’t think I would make it all the way back to Vinita.

I thanked him and he didn’t even charge me, told him to have a good day… and then about 2 miles down the road, the spare blew out

At this point, I was officially stranded. My original tire was shot, the spare was shot, and I had no way to get to a tire shop. I’m crying on the phone again, Nate is reassuring me that everything is going to be okay and telling me he’s going to call me right back. My phone is now at 7%

A few minutes later, he calls back and says, “Hey, C&J is on their way.”

Same guy showed up in less than 5 minutes. He grabbed my original tire, took it to the tire shop, got a tire put on for me, brought it back and put it on my car.

They seriously saved the day

Nate was what felt like half a world away and couldn’t get to me fast enough, but C&J Auto Worx stepped in and took care of me when I was completely stranded.

And then, when I got home, I was told that they actually shut up the shop to make sure I was taken care of

That kind of service and kindness means SO much, especially when you’re scared, stranded, crying and have 7% battery
